SANGALA PRAISED HIS BOYS FOR LEAGUE TITTLE

Coach George Sangala has praised his Mighty Wanderers Youth team for their remarkable FCB Katswiri U-20 League title win, crediting their success to teamwork, discipline, and unity.

"𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲, playing 30 games and emerging as 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 is not an easy feat. I have to give credit to the lads for their 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, and 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 throughout the season. Through hard work and unity, we are here today," Sangala said after the Junior Nomads sealed the championship with a 2-0 win over Yizo-Yizo Warriors.

The victory adds to the senior team's TNM Super League title win, marking a historic double for the club. 

CEO Panganeni Ndovi hailed the achievement as a reflection of the club's investment in youth development .

The year 2025, will be remembered as the year of League titles to both Mighty Wanderers FC main and their Youth side.

SCORCHERS U20 ARE CLOSE TO POLAND. 2026 FIFA WORLD CUP   Malawi's Under-20 Women's Football team , the Junior Scorchers , are one step closer to qualifying for the 2026 FIFA U-20 World Cup after securing a spot in the final round of qualification with a 6-2 aggregate win over Guinea Bissau on Saturday The Scorchers started its journey in Guinea-Bissau with 1:1 forced draw because there, they came from behind.  Meanwhile, the same incident happened today at the Bingu National Stadium where the Scorchers coincided a goal In less 5 minutes of the match. By half-time it was 1:1 because the Scorchers equalised on 7 minutes.  During the second half, the team show a brilliant performance as they managed to score 4 goals. IRAN WITHDRAWS FIFA WORLD CUP   Iran 's sports minister Ahmad Donyamali says their men's national team won't play at the 2026 World Cup in the US due to the ongoing conflict. FIFA might need to find a replacement country if Iran refuses to participate. The US, Canada, and Mexico are hosting the tournament, and Iran was set to play in the US. This is the following of the War tension that is happening currently between United States of America and Iran. The War has started early this year because of death of Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei . There is fear that many sporting activities can be affected in Iran due to this War.
