ANAM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MUST   The Netball Association of Malawi (NAM), in partnership with Malawi University of Science and Technology , has today conducting a capacity-building training in Sports Sciences at Blantyre Sports Arena . The session has brought together coaches and technical officials from teams competing in the FDH Premiership Netball League , as well as participants from the One NICO Top 12 . The training has run up to 4:00 PM, as NAM continues to invest in strengthening technical expertise and advancing the development of netball in Malawi. DRAMA IN TRANSFER WINDOW

 THREE CLUBS PAYED FOR KAMBILINYA  Last Saturday, March 15, 2026 Mighty Wanderers announced the signing of centre back Alex Kambilinya from a relegated team Mighty Tigers . Kambilinya signed a three year deal with Nomads. His contract will end in 2029. Following his signing, a lot has been said on how the player found himself at Wanderers. Bought by Ekhaya FC , Money refunded to Silver Strikers only for him to join Mighty Wanderers FC. Ekhaya paid Mighty Tigers FC K36 million for two players namely Alex Kambilinya and Lucky Tizolah . Kambilinya was going at at K17 million and K19 million for Lucy Tizolah. Alex Kambilinya was not knowing that he had been sold to Ekhaya FC and he was against the move but it was difficult for that to be reversed.When the player realised that Silver Strikers was interested in his services, he asked Tigers that he wanted a move to Silver. Therefore, he realised that it was not possible because his team Tigers was already received money from Ekha...

FIFA REJECTS

  FIFA HAS REJECTED IRAN PETITION  FIFA has rejected Iran ’s request to play their World Cup games in Mexico , away from the United States where they were scheduled. Iran are in the same group with New Zealand , Belgium and Egypt.  They are due to play two fixtures in Los Angeles and one in Seattle. With the ongoing war against the US and Israel, President Trump has refused to guarantee safety for the Iranian players. Iran has made this decision inoder to protect its prayers from being injured or killed by the US against. The War between Iran and United States has increased tension in trade, religious, Diplomacy and Sports. JUNIOR SCORCHERS TO PREPARE FIFA WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS   Malawi Under-17 Girls National Team head coach, Chisomo Nkhoma , has named a 36-member squad for camp ahead of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Burundi . The Young Scorchers will host the first leg on 11 April 2026 at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe , before travelling to Burundi for the return leg a week later. The Junior Schochers has never qualified for U-17 Women's FIFA world cup. This time around, Football Association of Malawi is providing good support to Malawi's women's football than before. MPHASI ON FIRE

MPHASI SHOWS GOOD PERFORMANCE IN ZAMBIA  Flames attacker, Chifundo Mphasi , provided a brilliant assist before being stretched off due to a heavy challenge which produced a straight red card as Power Dynamos beat FC Muza 4-2 in the MTN Super League in Zambia on Thursday. Mphasi was introduced at half time when the defending champions led 2-1 but conceded four minutes into the second half before Mphasi's ball finding Moses Shumah for the his second of the day and fifth in just two matches in the 54th minute. In the 63rd minutes, he received a bad tackle from Chanda Chileshe who was sent off and Mphasi's place was taken up by Titus Chansa as he failed to continue. The win for the leaders helped them to restore a five point lead on top the table as they have 51 points from 15 wins, 6 draws and two defeats with a game in hand as well. NOMADS SIGNS NAHIPA

CRECK GIVES NOMADS DALITSO  Mighty Wanderers has announced the acquisition of the services of Creck Sporting Club left back, Dalitso Nahipa . Nahipa has signed a three year contract with the Nomads . He is going to save Nomads Up 2029. This is a good signing for the Nomads. In this transfer window, they needed a left back, two center backs and a creative attacking midfielder This comes as a way of preparing fulfilment of gaps that will be occured when their key players like Stanley Sanud will get retired. On the other hand, the club is bringing new players so that they competition inside the club as they are preparing for this year's CAF champions . IRAN WITHDRAW FIFA WORLD CUP

IRAN WITHDRAWS FIFA WORLD CUP   Iran 's sports minister Ahmad Donyamali says their men's national team won't play at the 2026 World Cup in the US due to the ongoing conflict. FIFA might need to find a replacement country if Iran refuses to participate. The US, Canada, and Mexico are hosting the tournament, and Iran was set to play in the US. This is the following of the War tension that is happening currently between United States of America and Iran. The War has started early this year because of death of Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei . There is fear that many sporting activities can be affected in Iran due to this War.
